Harvetta Sineath

Harvetta was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on November 29, 1963. She was the daughter of Harvey J. Sineath and Henrietta Sineath Floyd.

Harvetta loved to garden, the beach, family gatherings, and a was a special baker of wonderful cakes. She was a longtime member of North Charleston United Methodist Church, a member of Elizabeth Vickery Circle, and a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 192.

She was survived by her aunt, Sharon S. Sineath, of Islandton, South Carolina; several cousins; her cousin and caretaker, Regina D. Taylor; her special furry friend, Dolly Pearl, and her favorite little people, Hutton, Willa, Hampton and Mila. Harvetta was predeceased by her parents and her stepfather, Calvin B. Floyd.

Relatives and friends of Harvetta Sineath are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12 Noon, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
