Jack Eugene Wagner

On April 11, Jack suffered a cerebral hemorrhage while driving near his home in West Ashley. Surrounded by loved ones from Charleston and Columbia, his final wishes were honored through the gift of organ donation at MUSC.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Becky; his loving children, Jake (22), Will (20), and Kate (18); his devoted mother, Jo Ann Wagner and special Uncle Jim Head and sister-in-law Diane Wagner.

Jack was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was deeply proud of his children—a pride that shone through in every conversation and every post he shared.

He found his greatest joy hunting and fishing in Minnesota, playing (and usually winning) cribbage in Charleston, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings.

He was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Jimmy Wagner; his father, John Wagner; and his beloved aunts, Jackie Head and Judy Wingate.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service and reception to follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations (7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406).
