James Francis McDonough, 84, of Moncks Corner entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2021, surrounded by his children and loved ones. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Eva Eleanor Yearwood McDonough, his mother, Margaret Ida Denton, father, John Francis McDonough, and his sister, Peggy Villa.
James is survived by his children, Elizabeth Ann McDonough, Susan Bernice McDonough Hatch, Timothy Michael McDonough and John Francis McDonough, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and extended family in New York.
Mr. McDonough was a retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 after spending 27 years in the US Navy. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Goose Creek and was a devoted and faithful Catholic. James was well loved and will be greatly missed.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
