John was a uniquely expressive person who had a creative mind and loved to build things. He was a magnificently detailed artist who not only showcased his designs on paper but has left his mark on countless others all over the world through his skill and passion as a tattoo artist. He was very instrumental in the legalizing tattooing in South Carolina and shedding light on this form of art. John also loved to build scale models beginning at an early age.
