Joyce Duncan Johnson

Relatives and friends of Joyce Johnson are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 12, 2025, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.

Joyce was born in Gaffney, South Carolina, on January 23, 1938. She was the daughter of William and Bessie Duncan. She enjoyed reading, traveling, going to church, spending time with family and friends and being a Nana to her two grandsons, Andrew and Owen.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Wall (Steven) of Summerville, SC and James Johnson, Jr., (Cassandra) Johnson of Tampa, Florida; grandsons, Andrew Wall of Atlanta, GA and Owen Wall of Seneca, SC; her brother, Marvin Duncan of Gaffney, SC, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, James A. Johnson, Sr., her parents, William E. And Bessie Duncan; her brothers, Bobby Dean Duncan and Milton Duncan and her sisters-in-law, Mary and Nancy Duncan.
