Born in Charleston, SC on February 26, 1949, Kathy was the daughter of the late Caulie "Buzz" McCall, Jr. and Evelyn "Marie" Getsinger Bennett.
Kathy worked at Remount Baptist Church as an administrative assistant. She retired after 27 years of service. She enjoyed camping, boating and loved to travel. Later, Kathy became an avid scrapbooker.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard L. Hudson; daughter, Tabbathie Smith-Darnell and husband Duane of Hanahan and grandson, Zachary Darnell of Hanahan.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Richard "Ric" McCall Bennett.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222. Kathy's funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Carolina Memorial Park.
