Katie May Chubb Gilmore

Entered into Eternal rest on the Morning of Friday June 3, 2016. The relatives and friends of Katie May Chubb Gilmore are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Sunday June 5th, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial and committal services to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from the hours of 2:00 P.M until the time service on Sunday at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. She was born on February 4th 1932 in Charleston, SC to the late George Heyward Chubb and Essie Mae Blanton Singletary. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and a Charter member of The Berkeley Hills Garden Club. She is survived by Sons Mark Gilmore “Susan” of Lebanon and Rusty Gilmore “ Marsha “ of Springfield , MO.; One Sister Dorothy C. Tucker of Hanahan, and a Sisters Gloria Jenkins of Summerville, Faye Lark and Donna Singletary of Summerville,Brothers Ronnie Singletary and Harold Singletary of Summerville; Grandchildren Eleanor Anne Gilmore and Claire Gilmore both of Lebanon. She was predeceased by a Brother Heyward Chubb and a grandchild Annie Gilmore.
