Kim Wickman

Kim Marie Wickman, age 66, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on December 17,2025 after a long illness. Kim is survived by her daughters, Stefanie David (Shawn) and Jessica Widlak (Matthew), both of Ladson, SC; her father, Stanley Wildermuth of Hamptonville, NC; her sisters Marsha Sweet of Summerville, SC and Sheryl Richmond (Curt) of Lisbon, CT; brother Wayne Wildermuth of, Woonsocket, RI; and one grandson, Austin David (Ladson, SC). She is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Wickman; her mother Joy Wildermuth; and her sisters Holly Lombardi and Lora Cook.

Kim was born on May 12, 1959 in Niskayuna, NY. She retired in 2021 after 30+ years of civil service at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and SPAWR/NIWC Atlantic. Kim was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling on the Harley with Tim for a charity ride or RV traveling with her father. She was patient and kind to everyone, a true gentle soul.

Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial gathering on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, located at 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice in her name.
