Marian G. Sanders

Marian was born August 8, 1937, in Kershaw County, SC. She was a twin, a sister, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother.

Marian was an active member of Highland Park Baptist Church until she moved to Holly Hill. She was active in the Singles Ministry, Meals on Wheels, Sages, Coed 4 Sunday School. She helped in the kitchen for Wednesday night suppers. She was also a baker extraordinaire! She worked in the pass office at Detyens Shipyard.

Marian was predeceased by her parents, Alma and Ansel Goff, her brother, Charlie Goff, a sister Doris Reeves, her twin, Mildred Smith, and her ex-husband, Clark Sanders.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Butts (Ray) of Holly Hill, a grandson, Glenn Williams (Robin), two granddaughters, Crystal Dickerson (Allan), and Raychal Malone (Jeff) and 6 great grandchildren, a sister, Joann Roberts (Don) of Hanahan, SC, a brother Gene Goff (Betty) of Savannah, GA.

Friends are invited to visit at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, February 20th at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave, a "Life Well Celebrated" service at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment at Carolina Memorial Park.
