Mattie was born in Hallsboro, North Carolina on April 24, 1931. She was the daughter of Jesse Creech and Nettie Flynn Creech. She was a member of Portside Baptist Church.
She is survived by: Daughters Sandy Fortune and her husband John of Goose Creek; Karen Jacques and her husband Ed of Orlando Florida; Gayle Davis and her husband Bill of Rockledge Florida;
Grandchildren Julie Strickland and her husband Henry of Portal Georgia; Jackie Grasham and her husband Chris of Brunswick Georgia; Jerri Weathers and her husband Chris of Port Orange Florida; Jessica Tucker and her husband Chris of Brunswick Georgia; Lisa Bratton and her husband Gary of Sumter SC and Great-grandchildren Andrew Bratton of Sumter SC and Emma Shiffer of Brunswick GA. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest McCall, Jr. and a son, Roger McCall.
