So sorry that Michael died  and at a still youthful age.
I am a cousin o f Mike and I was ten years old when he was born to my Auntie Joan and Uncle Jack in London.
when Michael was a teenager he spent some time in England and stayed with his Grandparents in Kent.
we had a day out with him at Margate, a holiday resort in Kent and I remember him jumping into the cold English sea. After that he got himself a summer job at Butlins Holiday Camp in Margate and had  a lot of fun there.

so  sad to get the news of Mike's death, his sister Pat updated us in her Christmas card.
seeing the photos of Mike fishing reminded me of  his Dad, Jack, who was my Dad's brother, they were both mad about fishing and they would never miss a weekend with a rod in their hands at  Chiddingstone,  Kent, fishing and eating sandwiches between bites.
My last contact with Mike was when I sent him details of his Dad's time as a prisoner of war at  Stalag Luft III in Poland having been captured after being shot down over Germany.
I remember how upset his and my Grandmother Beatrice was when Jack took the family to Dayton, Ohio in the 1950's to enhance his career with NCR. 
I also attended Jack and Joan's wedding.
So sad that such a popular person has died and my condolences to all of his family.

I just found out that Mike passed away.  He was my broker when I worked at Coldwell Banker in Asheville, and then we became good friends. Hard not to with a soul such as his. Agents would line up outside his office constantly, I think everyone just wanted to be around such a good spirit, but he did always give the best advice.
I have not been in touch for years, but he will never be forgotten. Bless his soul. 

I am stunned and saddened by Mike's passing. Mike was always a joy to be around. When he was President of the local Board of Realtors, I called him "El Capitan." Little did I know all those years ago that his son, Matt, would later come into my world and become one of my favorite people. My deepest sympathies to all the family. 

Michael was one of the  smartest people I have ever met. We both loved sharing  our outdoor adventures with each other any chance we had. Prayers for his Wonderful Family and Friends. Much Love , Jimmy  Hyams and Family.

With singing hearts and dancing feet, we swirled around the maypole and laughed at life.

Mike, you have left us both with tears and dimpled memories. 

Now, it is all beginning again, and we can play the pied piper a bit longer. 

We can all try to carry your eagle's heart of gold in our hearts. No judgement, unconditional love, appreciation, compassion, peace and happiness.
