

Her memorial service will be at 2:00 on Sunday, 28 September 2025 at Carolina Memorial Gardens with a graveside service to follow. Visitation will begin at 1:00.
Pam was born on 8 March 1956 the daughter of the late Keith M Thompson, Sr and the late Betty L Hatfield Thompson. She graduated from Gordon H. Garrett High School in 1974.
After working in various roles from Administrative to Technical fields in the Charleston Naval Shipyard and SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic she became a Program Manager and Integrated Product Team lead for the Defense Logistics Agency business portfolio. Pam retired from government service in 2015 with 35 years of dedicated service.
As President and CEO of Crescent Solutions, LLC she provided services for the next 10 years to various government contractors as a Subject Matter Expert, Senior Program Manager, and business capture consultant. Pam loved her work and pursued every task with enthusiasm.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Michael D Copeland, son and daughter, Jeff Copeland (Buffie), Pamela Gail Copeland and grandchildren, Lane and Seth Copeland. She will be dearly missed by her sister Donna T. Field (Ralph) of Silverdale, WA, nieces and nephew, Heather Crain (Joel), Ashley Zednick (Carson) both of Bremerton, WA and Logan Field (Sophia) of San Clemente, CA. She was a fabulous Great Auntie adored by her great nieces and nephews, Rilyn, Parker, Taylor and Ty., all of Bremerton, WA. She is also survived by siblings Keith Thompson, Jr and Joy Dearing.
Pam had an enormous heart with a ready smile. There wasn’t a stray animal she could look beyond, always showering them with love and care. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, and unwavering love.
The loss of Pam will leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in Heavenly peace.
