I was fortunate to have Pete Thompson as an instructor, at UNO.  I often said, "they should charge extra, for this guy."   He was a "real world" engineer and instructor.  My favorite phrase of his, "the book says this, but in the real world, this is how we do it."  Pete Thompson was a great engineer and a great person.  Thank you, again, Pete Thompson.
