Born on March 30, 1954, he was the son of Robert Thomas Horne and Ellen Moore Webb.
Tommy lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and a love for the simple joys. He had a fondness for dogs, treasured days spent at the beach, enjoyed hunting, and was rarely without music playing in the background. A devoted fan of the Carolina Gamecocks, he also cherished time with his family and friends, who will remember his easygoing spirit and generous heart.
He is survived by two sisters, Deidre Horne House (Luis) and Linda H. Taylor; his nephew, Chris Benton (Tiffany); nieces, Ashley Hanneman (Rob) and Abby Potts (Keefe); three great-nieces; and four great-nephews. Tommy will also be dearly missed by many extended family members throughout Charleston and North Carolina, along with his special neighbors Danielle, Ken, Bryan, and Jocelyn, who became like family and cared for him deeply. He is reunited in Heaven with his father, Robert Horne (Joyce), his mother, Ellen Webb, his brother-in-law, Charles Taylor, and his nephew Matthew Taylor.
Tommy’s presence was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
