Ron was born to Amy Gertrude Herrell in Kansas City, MO. Ronald was adopted by Roy and Helen Lienau of Independence, MO.
Ronald was a graduate of William Chrisman High School, Westminster College in Fulton, MO, and served as an 2LT in the US Army. Ron worked as an accountant for General Motors, Topsy's Popcorn, Yellow Cab and the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. Ron retired in South Carolina in 2006.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Sara Lienau; granddaughters, Erica and Haley; half-siblings, JoDean Eddins, Donald Gene Ferguson, and Patricia Hoggard; and friend Shane Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judith; his son Eric; and sister Dolores Pundmann.
