Vivian Coker Tyler

Vivian Coker (Teetor) Tyler passed away peacefully at her residence in Chesapeake, Virginia, on December 24, 2025. Originally from Andrews, South Carolina, she was born December 28,1939, daughter to Whildon Leroy Coker Sr. and Allie Lee Moore Coker.

Vivian will be remembered for her love of God, family and friends, and the warmth and strength she shared with all who knew her.

She is survived by a son, Bryant Alan Teetor, and his wife, Jill; grandchildren Phillip (Julia) Teetor and Jordan (Mike) Manning; great-grandchildren, Peyton Teetor, Walker Manning, and Coralyn Teetor; siblings, Ansel (Sharon) Coker, Harry (Linda) Coker, Larry (Belinda) Coker, and Beverly Poe, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Vivian was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Jerry E. Teetor (1976) and William T. Tyler, Jr. (2004); her parents; four brothers, Dan, Jack, Whildon Leroy "W.L." Jr. and James Coker; four sisters, Annie Lee Coker, Margaret Wiggins, Geraldine Flowers-Harrelson and Harriet Cox.

Visitation and service will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, North Charleston S.C., at 1:00 p.m. on January 13, 2026. Interment will follow.
