Wayne Strickland

Wayne William Strickland age 60, born November 18, 1963 in Charleston SC and a resident of Moncks Corner SC. Wayne entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2024. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Dorothy Strickland, who entered into eternal rest a few years ago. Wayne also had a Step-daughter Lanie Russum, and two grandkids, Ashley and Richard, that he loved dearly, and that he enjoyed spending time with.

Wayne was a loving and caring person. He is also at eternal rest with his Father, Mother and one of his eldest brothers, who are deceased: Milton W Strickland, his Mother Elise E Clark Jordan, and eldest brother James Strickland. Wayne had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving members are: (Eldest Brother) Randall Strickland Father to Michelle Strickland (Eldest sister) Rose Strickland Snowden, Husband Tony Snowden, Son Jeffrey Strickland, Son Russell Snowden and daughter Holly Snowden Jennings of Moncks Corner (Youngest Sister) Barbara Dearing and her kids Donna Dearing and DJ Dearing Jr (Youngest Brother) Michael Strickland his kids Michael Strickland Jr, Milton Strickland, John Strickland (baby brother) Glenn Thomas Strickland daughter Jessica Strickland. Wayne enjoyed karaoking Elvis Presley, and spending quality time with family and friends. Wayne was a hard worker and put forth his efforts in the construction industry as a machine operator. Wayne was a very outgoing person and he loved meeting new people.

A family visitation for Wayne will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a graveside inurnment service at carolina memorial park at 2:30 PM.
