Asad Sulaiman Aboud, age 91, of North Hollywood, California, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Asad was born in Syria and immigrated to the United States, where he spent much of his life dedicated to education.
Asad worked as a teacher for over 40 years, shaping the minds of countless students. His passion for teaching and commitment to his students made a lasting impact on the community, and he will be remembered for his dedication, wisdom, and kindness.
Asad is survived by his family and friends, who will cherish his memory and the many lives he touched.
A funeral service for Asad will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2300 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90057. Following the funeral service, a graveside service will take place from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park and Mortuary, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
