On the afternoon of June 13, 2024, Emily Rose Freeto passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family in Sylmar, CA. Emily was 78. She is survived by her two sons Steven and Johnny Ruiz. Emily was born in Burbank CA to Casey and Lucy Vasquez on January 20,1946. She was the eldest of six siblings; Ronald Vasquez, Eddy Vasquez, Yolanda Bonanno, Mary Fritz and Diana Mailhot. Emily owned her own housekeeping business while raising two extraordinary boys. She warmed many hearts throughout her career turning customers into lifelong friends. She was a grandmother of four boys Steven, Matthew, Owen and Lucas Ruiz and great grandmother of two boys Evan and Elliot Ruiz and two girls Abigail and Lisa Emily Ruiz. As well as an Aunt and Cousin to many extended family whom she loved dearly. She was a go-getter who loved to dance and have fun. She was not afraid to speak her mind but she had a heart of gold that knew no ends for her family.
