I know you can see us from Heaven and see how you are so loved among those who knew you and even the ones who didn't get the chance to know you.

I have never met someone as caring as you. I will miss your dishes greatly. I miss you but you are in a better place now r.i.p I love you.

I have yet to meet a person as kind, generous, and strong as you. You have always had a big heart that never seemed to stop giving to everyone around you. There are many things that I will never forget about you, one of which being your amazing cooking. Thank you for always being there for me and my family. I am sure you are in a better place right now. May your soul rest in peace. I love you.

When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now.

I am at a loss for adequate words to express my sadness for you. I never had the opportunity of knowing your mom but I know heaven just received one of the most special angels. Tony jan, I never met her and I don't know her but I know you and YOU are a reflection of your mom in the way your treat people with respect and empathy. Not to mention the way you make each person feel loved. I am so sorry for your loss.

Morkour john we will always love you. You were always nice to everyone, and I know that we'll never forget you. You were like a second mother to me. I still remember the taste of the food you cooked and nothing compares to it, even to this day.

Dear Mom,
Rest in Peace, I'm sure you're in a better place now. We will always miss you and your great dishes.

As I write in memory of my dear friend Tony's mother, it could seem a bit odd.  I never met her face to face.  But Tony has told me much about her.  Her courage to rescue a baby born in the hospital where she cared for babies and mothers, and left there.  As an adoptive parent myself, I know the courage, determination and desire it takes to raise a child.  

But my friend was hand-picked, and it shows how much he was wanted. And that God connected him with the right family.  I can't say I know all the difficulties she and his father faced raising Tony under these circumstances, but I can see in her son that her commitment to him was deep.  It was unwavering.  And it was love at the core.  

How can I be so sure?  Because children reflect their parents, and that is who her son grew up to be.  So while I did not have the opportunity to meet her in person, I feel I know much about her character and commitment.  She passed that on to Tony.

My loving mom was a genuine, down to the earth, hardworking, caring, kind one of a kind woman that always stood tall and helped anyone that was in need of help.
She was the head nurse in labor and delivery department of Eyvazadeh hospital in Tehran/Iran for 25 years. At the age of 49 while working her shift in the hospital, she was told that a young 16 year old girl just gave birth to a healthy boy but she is forced by her mother in-law to give up her child. Haykanoush who at the time had no children of her own, decided to adopt this child as a God given gift from heaven. This came as a shocking news to her husband Megerdoon at the time. They were both near and over their 50s and adoption of a new born child was something to think carefully about. But it did not take both of them longer than 30 seconds to accept this opportunity to adopt the little boy. They named him Tony. Why? Well, my mother was a big fan of Tony Curtis and she named me after her most favorite actor! I was  probably the only Tony in Iran !!!
My adoptive mom and dad loved and cared for me just like their own. They went above and beyond their abilities to make sure I was well taken care of.
My mother was a hero to me and I am forever grateful to her and my dad for all they have done for me to become who I am today.
RIP mom. I love and miss you very much.
