Maria de los Angeles Martin, 83, passed away peacefully on thursday, November 10, 2022 after a four-year battle with Leukemia. Maria was born on October 6, 1939, to Jose Perez and Matilde Delgado in Guines, Cuba. She was the second of three children born to her parents, with an older sister, Mercedes, and a younger brother, Jose. In 1962, Maria married her sweetheart,Ricardo, in Havana, Cuba. Maria and Ricardo went on to have a son, Richard. Together, they immigrated to Spain in 1971, and later to the United States in 1974, in search of a better life for their family. Maria and Ricardo built a full and happy life in Los Angeles, CA. Maria worked as a manager at a manufacturing plant, and spent her time caring for her son and granddaughters, gardening, watching Spanish novelas, and cruising around the world. Maria is survived by her husband of 61 yrs, Ricardo, her son, Richard, her daughter-in-law, Audrey, her granddaughters, Ashley, Jackie, and Melissa, and her grandsons, Ben and Sam.
