María Elena voy a extrañar tu amable y cariñoso abrazo. Desde el primer día me recibiste en tu familia con los brazos abiertos. Siempre me hiciste sentir incluida y siempre trataste a mi mamá con amabilidad y respeto. Estuviste ahí para este momento tan importante de mi vida y de estar presente en cada evento y fiesta que tenia. Gracias por tu amabilidad y amor. My condolences a las personas cercas a María Elena.

On this special day, I can truly say I am extremely happy this picture was taken. Though to be honest I don’t quite remember taking it, but being able to look back now and know that grandma Maria Elena was there on that special day means a great deal to us. 
I've been in n out of Mikey’s house since 8th grade and each and every time grandma always was very welcoming and embracing. I was just some dumb kid that was friends w/ her grandchild, but she never saw me like that. Always remembering my name and made me feel welcomed. 

Maria Elena will be forever missed… but never forgotten.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and condolences are with your family.   I will miss her so much, my dinner partner, when I would go over to the Martinez’s or we would be at the countertop, just talking about her family or my son.  I will miss her advice. One time , I told her boys are hard, and she came back with just listen to him, and if he asks for advice, then you tell him what you think, not what to do.  I laugh as I think about it.  She knew me 🥰.      Or when I would not go over for a minute and she'd say señorita por que no se a reportado?  I will miss her loving way with me.  Even though I knew Rachel was her favorite it’s okay because she was mine.

We are so blessed to have met you and spend time with you. Thank  you for always taking me in and being nothing but kind to me and my daughter. I will always remember having a coffee and bagel  with you in the morning talking about life. We miss you so much already , may your kind soul rest in peace we love you 👼🏻🙏🏻

Lo siento mucho, ella fue una gran amiga de michos anos. Compartíamos muchas historias de nuestra juventud y de nuestras vida. Ella siempre fue muy reservada y sabia que si queria platicar con alguien siempre podia contar con ella.  Siento mucho que se nos alla ido muy pronto. Fue una mujer muy luchadora y fuerte. La voy a extranar mucho. Ya no tendre a mi amiga con la que platicaba por horas y se nos pasaba el tiempo bien rapido. Siempre la recordare y la llevare en mi corazón. Que dios la tenga en su santa gloria.
