Funny, loving, always telling jokes, always making sure everyone was having a good time. He loved his family with everything he had, and I am so lucky to have him as my dad.
Today we celebrate the life of this truly wonderful man - the loving husband, devoted father, and someone who brought laughter and joy everywhere he went.
MGM Studios was lucky to have him as a projectionist, but we were even luckier to have him as our dad.
He had a way of making life feel magical. Before movies were even released, he would bring that excitement home to all of us. He didn't just show films — he created experiences.
Whether putting on a top hat, throwing candy to everyone, telling hilarious jokes, or turning an ordinary day into an adventure, he made sure people smiled. Fun followed him everywhere!
He loved baseball, laughter, family, and storytelling. He could come home from a normal day at work with stories so funny and unbelievable that Mom would wait excitedly just to hear about the adventures he had gotten himself into (or out of) that day.
Their love was something special.
The kind of partnership filled with laughter, loyalty, and genuine joy just being around one another.
As a father, he gave us more than memories. He gave us warmth, humor, security, and unconditional love. He taught me that life should be enjoyed, that laughter matters, and that even hard days can be softened with a joke and a smile.
The world feels a little quieter without him in it, but the memories he created will never fade. Every laugh, every baseball game, every movie memory, every piece of candy tossed with a grin, and all the bubble gum he handed to every waitress - those moments live on in all of us.
He was one of a kind — a great man, a devoted husband, and an incredible father who will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Love you forever,
Kari
