Born in the former Soviet Union on May 31, 1944, Aza grew up in Odessa, Ukraine where she and her husband started their life together. In 1976, she and her family immigrated to the United States. Aza lived in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area for 21 years before moving to South Florida in 1997.
Aza loved the beach, music, dancing, travel, Chinese food, and above all else, her family and friends.
Surviving Aza is her husband of 57 years, Valery; children, Enna (Ken) Kramer of Marco Island, Florida, and Oleg Sobol of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Michael Stuczynski and Morgan Stuczynski; a sister, Lucy Sheinton; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Menashe and Dvora Geker, and her eldest sister, Alexandra Dolgopisov.
