I had known Bruce since our days in Residency back in New York, he at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and I at Columbia-Presbyterian. We later crossed paths again here in Florida and we have always remained friends.  It saddens me greatly as I remember our mutual past and wish his children peace and fond memories.

I was shocked and saddened to learn today of Bruce's death. He was a friend and colleague. Deepest condolences to his family.

We are very saddened to hear of Dr. Horowitz's untimely passing.  He was a very unique man with a kind soul.  It was a great experience to have worked with him.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his children and family at this difficult time.  We will never forget him.

We were so shocked and saddened to learn of Dr. Horowitz's passing at a much-too-early age. Our deepest sympathy to Leslie...may your memories of happier times sustain you. To Matthew, Melissa and Stacey....your father adored you and may that fact bring you comfort now and in the years ahead when you will feel the void of his absence. As the obituary referenced, Dr. H was a "dreamer" and he was a man who recognized things most of us couldn't even imagine. His inventions with regards to the seed-implant procedure saved hundreds, if not thousands, of men's lives who were stricken with prostate cancer...and that fact alone made his life a success.
