A woman of valor. This describes Carol. I respected and admired you when I was a child and my admiration continued through the years. Your kindness and gentle understanding,  in many ways you were like your dear Mom.  Although, we did not see each other for so long, I am so happy  for the times we shared in recent years. I will always think of you as my role model.

You were my long time, oldest, and very brave friend.  We shared so many experiences--happy and sad.  A lot of my history is gone with you.  You are at peace and rest now.  I will think of you on a cloud laughing it up with your loving buddies who have predeceased you.  You will always be in my heart.

Even though you were so ill, I always had hopes of you achieving a complete recovery.  You were the best.  G-d was so good to me in having a cousin like you.  You were my sister, confident and genuine friend.  We had fun growing up - our BBG conventions, mountain trips, seashore escapades and sharing family experiences with being a part of the Nelson family until we got married - 13 months apart.  We had many laughs/experiences and had a genuine love for one another.  Alvin, Steve and Will:  your wife and mother was a treasure and we were blessed to have her in our lives and will never forget her.
