David McLean, age 70, of Kitson Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica, passed away in hospital on November 28, 2019 in Margate, Florida where he resided with his wife and son. He worked as a crane operator at Steel Factory in Spanish Town, Jamaica as a young adult and later on as a taxi operator, fondly known as "Speedy." He was very active in his small community and initiated the neighborhood watch, worked to maintain the landscape and aesthetics of the scheme so as to instill pride and encourage patriotism among his neighbor’s and the upcoming youths. After moving to Florida in 2008, he acquired new friendships with the staff at Show Management where he worked in the electrical department. He leaves behind his wife Juliet, from his second marriage and their son Steven, sons Carl, Derrick, Marvin, David Jnr, and Troy, daughters Sheryll and Shawn, from his first marriage to Sylvia, sisters Avis and Louise, brother Jimmie, 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, sons & daughters-in-law, nieces & nephews-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins friends and many who knew him to mourn his loss
