

Born on September 10, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Irving Zuckerman and the late Ruth Zuckerman, and the step-daughter of the late Elsie Zuckerman. Eve is survived by her son, Russell Marcus; granddaughter, Sydney Marcus; grandson, Noah Marcus; brother, David Zuckerman; daughter-in-law, Rian Balfour-Marcus; husband, Edward Kantrowitz; sister-in-law, Sondra Felberg; and brother-in-law, Albert Felberg.
Eve will lovingly be remembered as our mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and friend to everyone she touched.
Eve graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Arts in Education. She was a gifted and caring teacher for more than 30 years in New York and Florida, most recently at Parkside Elementary School in Coral Springs.
In addition to being a caring teacher for decades, she was a talented artist and caring sole. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Eve was funny and loved traveling around the world, reading, spending time with family, and playing ping pong.
Services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 3 pm at Star of David Memorial Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068. A visitation for Eve will immediately precede the funeral service from 2 pm to 3 pm.
All are welcomed to attend the visitation and funeral service. A reception will follow the service (address to be provided).
