Jay was a good hearted  friend of mine, during my 20's. I would have liked to have seen him again. We knew quite a few people in common and I feel a loss at what to say...I know he leaves a vacume in the hearts of many.

Was watching Saturday night "Creature Features" and thought about Jay.  I knew he had  gone into acting and movie making.  We were fraternity brothers at Queens College.  Sadly, came across  this online.  My condolences to his family and close friends.

Hi, I am sorry for your lose. I had called to wish Jay a Happy Hanukah and found this site when his phone wasn't in service. We've known each other about 35 years, met in California and would call each other to wish a happy for whatever the holiday was. Sorry to have found this site.

Jay was a fraternity brother of mine at Queens College...always a guys guy...great sense of humor, always laughing and smiling...fun to be around...last saw Jay in ‘94 when in California to do Wheel of Fortune..had a great time...remember him doing the entire Alice’s Restaurant on his guitar...good stuff...good memories

Sad news.  I met Jay at Queens College in the mid'60's.  Always fun.
A good guy to do things with - hiking, Dodger games, boxing matches.  He was always fun to exchange jokes with.  He'll be missed.

Knew Jay since 1971. Simply a stellar, fun guy. Sad news for sure. 

Jay was my cousin, but unfortunately we lost touch many years ago. He was a great man and extremely funny. RIP Jay.
