It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan (Nadie) Abrams on April 22nd, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Shirley (Storfer) for 66 years. Beloved brother to Lillian Garber (late Bill); Esther Katz (Morris); the late sister Celia Lapidus (Harold); late brother Samuel; and the late sister Marion Pekofsky (Peter). Beloved brother in law to the late Murray and Gail Storfer; Myer and Joyce (Storfer); the late Carl Storfer (Esther); the late Harriet (Tudy) Spivak (Mendy); Irving and the late Ann Storfer; the late Bernie Storfer; and the late Billy Storfer (Annabelle). Devoted father of the late Mitchell Abrams and daughter Robin Rouah. Loving grandfather of Joshua, Daniel and wife Kristi, Rachel and husband Steven, and Benjamin; and loving great grandfather to Jaden, Kensli, and Jameson. He was loved by all his nieces and nephews and his abundance of friends.
Born in Montreal, Quebec on February 14th, 1930 to the late Morris and Clara Abrams. He was a “bondit” in his early years. He was a very caring, honest, and devoted man. A master plumber by his early 20s (N.Abrams plumbing and heating), he was master prankster well before then. His laugh was contagious, his jokes were abundant. He made pickles from scratch and could fix anything with his hands. He will be truly missed.
Funeral service will be held at Star of David Memorial Gardens, 7701 Bailey Rd North Lauderdale, Fl 33068 on Thursday, April 25th at 10:30am. Due to the holiday of Passover there will be no shiva. If you would like to donate, please contribute to your charity of choice.
