I knew Richie at Tile Outlet.  We worked together.  We called him Che.  At that time he had a ponytail.  It looked good on him.  I just found out today that he passed away.  My condolences to the family.  

Richie was truly the brother to me that I never had.  He was the first to let me drive a car, his, when I was 15.  As a child, he always made me laugh.  We sometimes fought like siblings, but always quickly made up.  Once when I was late for curfew, he offered to find me and found me hanging out in one of the garden apartment hallways with a couple of guys, but didn’t tell my parents when he brought me home.  I was 13 then.  He had great compassion and a fabulous sense of humor.  He was sensitive and kind.  I deeply regret hearing that he was so troubled and of his passing.  Richie, I will always love you like a brother.  What a sweetheart you were.  I will move forward with you always in my heart and in the great memories I have of you and your lovely family.

I can’t believe you’re gone. You were not only my brother you were my dear friend.  I am deeply disturbed by your final act of desperation and pray to god you are finally at peace and pain free mentally as well as physically.  I love you Richy . Rest I Peace. ❤️❤️


This is a sad moment for me Richie.  Best friends for so many years.  You, me and Mitchell.  We drifted apart.

But I cannot help but smile thinking about so many funny moments we shared.  It’s endless.   In the quilt off my life, Richie Klein has a square....maybe two or three.  

Richie was my childhood sweetheart. From 14 till 16. And a dear friend after that. I’m so so saddened to hear of his passing.  We spoke about a year ago and we caught each other up. He grew up in my home and me in his.  Rest In Peace dear Richie. I will never forget your beautiful brown eyes and your sweet smile.  So so sad.

In 8th grade Richie & I performed as Ruth Buzzy & the old man from Laugh In,,,(a 70s comedy show) for the school assembly.  I dressed Ruth Buzzy with a hairnet covering my hair & Richie dressed as the old man & I helped him put a ton of baby powder in his hair for grey,,,anyone who knew Richie knows that he was hysterically funny, add in that we looked so different no one even recognized us on stage,,,We looked at each other & almost lost it, we were laughing so hard. We began our lines & I had to bang him over the head with my purse. A cloud of powder rose over his head,, that was it we could speak anymore we were crying laughing,,, but somehow we got an A anyway because the audience was in stitches,,, Richie should have been a comedian, funniest man I EVER met,,, we were in classes together for years & friends. This is a memory that has never faded for me, it was so him,,,I began looking for him last week on social media,,,We lost touch & my husband Mitch Baron is Godfather to Sean,,, he will so sad as I am to hear of this news,, please contact us ...
