Sondra "Sunny" Aileen Marks Solomon

Sondra (Sunny) A. Solomon (née Marks) a long time resident of Cherry Hill, New Jersey passed away 07/23/2012 with her husband and sons by her side. Sunny was the daughter of the late Harry and Marilyn Marks and sister of the late Donna Kamins (née Marks). She is survived by her beloved husband Neil, her devoted sons Robert Solomon Esq., Detective Adam and his wife Dr. Tanya Solomon, and is the proud grandmother of Haylyn Solomon, a loving aunt to Ilene Bland and the proud owner of her beloved cat, Sharon.

Sunny graduated Cherry Hill High School West, was a licensed Hair Stylist and Barber, and owner of Sunny and Tony's Golden Scissors for many years.

She was an accomplished and talented singer, starred in many theatrical performances - even performing on stage for the troops in Fort Dix and on a cruise ship. She was an active member of ALS Hope Foundation and The Breast Cancer Society which she was a five time survivor of. Sunny overcame many obstacles in her too short life and truly defined the word FIGHTER.

She lived her life with love, strength, endurance, patience, faith and good humor. She had a way of lighting up a room and was the matriarch of the family.

Her greatest accomplishment is her two boys who she was most proud of.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 10:30am at Star of David Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL with a burial to follow on the grounds.
