  Jack and I (Sandi) we're so sadden to just hear of Steve's passing....He was always so upbeat when we would see him and  I know our community will miss a valuable leader.  May friends and family always surround you with love and kindness....Jack & Sandi Meyers

I am so sorry Sheila.  I know that Steve would never have given up but I also know that he is enjoying food once again with no restrictions.  I will miss his wisdom, advice and his outspokenness. I will never forget him...it is what it is.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you. We look forward to the day when sickness anf death will be no more.

Mom (Barbara Gottlieb) and I (Rhonda Salowitz) had the extreme pleasure of sharing the art of oral and written communication with Steve.  The value he brought to our Creative Writing and Poetry group is immeasurable.  We had the pleasure of his insight, wit and wisdom for over 10 years.  He reminded us to always write things down, so that is what I am doing here.  You have motivated me one final time, Steve, to put my thoughts down.  I thank you for encouraging all of us to tap into our creative side and remember that we always shared the love of the written word.   Your presence will be sorely missed, but your spirit will live inside all whose life you touched...and I know for a fact you touched a great many lives.  Rest in peace, my friend.  Mom and I will always love, remember and miss you.           Rhonda.
