Stuart, I love you and miss you so much. I wish you were here a lot. Sometimes just to get through my day I pretend you're here if you really aren't already here in spirit- I don't know for sure. I've been having a rough time lately but still clean and sober. I just so miss your presence that always lit up the whole entire room and how you always made me so happy when you were around. I would like to express my sincere sympathy over the loss of your son Stuart
I have many good memories of him growing up , his Bar Mitzvah, his conversation in Spanish every time that I called and he answered the telephone, the time that we were looking for him at FAU
and finally we found him with a girl in the park.
He was a person who touched people's lives every where he went.
I know Stuart was loved deeply by so many.
I will miss him so much, but he will be always in my heart .

I recently came across the news of Stuart's passing.  He was one of the first friends I remember knowing. I have known him my entire life, even though we have lost touch along the way.  Many of my childhood memories include Stuart, from painting at the plaster carousel to swimming in the pool at night.  My heart is broken for my long lost friend and his family...

Shortly after I moved to NYC, I remember stepping out of a cab and to my comfort and wonderful surprise, seeing Stu walking up the sidewalk... He gave me this giant hug that lifted me off the ground, making me feel like everything would be ok. Will never forget that moment. Beautiful Stu. RIP.

As a mother, my heart bursts with  pride at how many lives he has touched in a very special way. My family, friends, and I adored Stu.  Stu was one of a kind. I would gladly give up my life to give Stu's back his. He was the most genuine loving person I have ever met. I developed a little nickname for stu I used to call him the wizard cause he would always come to my house and get all my gadgets and tv's working right he always took a keen interests in the way things work you can see it in his eyes when he would tinker with things and that's what I loved most about stu. He just took such an interest in who the world worked and what was behind it all every moment I spent with stu I always learned something. He was always looking to discovery the mysteries of our universe and the wonderful thing is all his questions about this universe will be answered and to me that's the most encouraging thing miss ya wizard.

I've known Stu since I was eight years old so over 23 years now. Stu was a sweet kid, a hilarious teenager, a caring young man, and an all around great human. I have not stopped thinking about Stu and the great person he was over the past few days. Stu was a loved member of my family and my brother Sam's best friend. I have replayed our last few conversations over and over in my head and am so thankful to have those memories. The world has lost a positive loving soul who will forever be missed. I met Stuart through his dear friend and coworker, Scott Silver.  Stuart was very passionate about the work he was doing at Summer House and shared some of his experiences over Key Lime tarts as he gave me a tour of the facility.  He spoke so highly of his loved ones, who have been a great support to him, especially his girlfriend, Stephanie.  His genuinely warm and friendly personality made him a very special person who has surely touched the hearts of many people.  He will be greatly missed.

Dear Stu: Although I didn't know you well I knew of you through my son with whom you were very close.  When you walked in to a room, the room lite up.  You were an incredible friend to my son and others.  When my sister needed  someone to help her you were there for her anytime whether you were at work or not you would go by to see her.  You were a special person that is rare and unique.  Your kind gentle spirit and love for humanity touched all that you met.
You will be sorely missed by all but remembered in our hearts and minds always!

You were a modern day jim morrison. You astonishingly eccentric......a heart filled with gold & silver....
