Beth was born in Eldorado, Arkansas on October, 30th 1953 to her parents Henry and Joan Anthony. The Anthony’s raised Beth in Lake Village, Arkansas along with her three siblings on the family farm, a place of wonderful memories for her. She graduated from Lake Village High School in 1971. Beth attended the University of Arkansas. Beth lived most of her adult life in Searcy, Arkansas. She worked in real estate and banking. She ended her career at First Security Bank in Searcy, Arkansas retiring in 2015. The last years working part time as she cared for the love of her life, Bill Manasco who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
Beth continued caregiving after Bill’s death. In 2015 she moved to Shreveport, Louisiana to help care for her parents. She was also a faithful after school chauffeur for her niece and nephew, Hannah and Michael and later her grand daughter, Addison. The kids have fond memories of Sonic trips, laughs, and of her fussing and complaining about bad drivers. Because no one could drive as good as Beth. Just ask her. Beth was the life of the party. The center of all the stories from family vacations to the beach and the mountains. She was a force to be reckoned with and had a big caring heart under that ornery exterior. She loved meeting new people and knowing their stories. She loved all animals, especially her cats. She was fiercely independent, a trait cultivated on the farm in Lake Village, Arkansas. She was also very proud of her boys and their brave service to our country.
