A Letter to my Uncle Bill;
As I got older, I look back at some of my memories I have with you.

One of my favorites is you taking us to the Beach almost every day, that one summer.
I remember you doing a little street outlaw with a woman in a Mustang.. and That planted the seed for my love of fast street cars.. ( Then Bryan watered that seed with his 70 Chevelle).
Everytime I see a 69/70 Pontiac Grand Prix, I think of you, and one Day, I hope to own one in Remerance.

I'll miss our 2 hr talks in person and on the cell, about our tv shows we liked and what was going to happen next.

I use to Brag about you to friends and others.
I would say "My Uncle Bill is
6'-5" and 250lbs, and looks like James Garner". And has a fast Grand Prix.  (Y'all know how kids can be, Right?).

I carried those momories with me than you know...

I loved the way you took care of Grandma & Betty (mom)
During the Good days and not so good. You sacrificed your life for all of us.
I thank you for that...

If I would of answered one question different, we might of had many more years together. But, I still have my

Memories of my Uncle Bill:

I will truly miss you. 
You were the one family member to follow my young life. You are the one that attended my high school football games. You were my Guardian Angle. You stayed in the shadows and looked after me even when it wasn't in your best interest. And for that, I will always be grateful.

When we first met in later life, it was like I had known you all my life. We had a natural bond. I enjoyed your stories and company.

Living a long distance apart, we talked many hours on the phone about subjects we both enjoyed. We both have a deep love for Maui. Bill had spent time there as a young man, as well as I have.
We would discuss living in the Great Pacific Northwest. He also lived here for a while many years ago. We spent hours talking about old cars and his love for airplanes. He knew more about the Boeing Airplane Company than I did, and I live in the Seattle area?

I loved my Uncle Bill. He was a very smart man and he love to talk about issues he was passionate about. I will miss our conversations. He also had  memory like no one I have ever known. He could remember great detail on things that happened decades before. Amazing.

Best for last: The one thing I did at the end of our phone conversations is say "I love you Uncle Bill". At first he didn't know what to make of that. But he warmed up to it and he told me it was the best part of our conversations. He was proud to said         "I love you too".  this is something probably no one else knew about. It is the one thing I will treasure the most.

Rest in peace Uncle Bill.   I love you.

I only met Bill a couple of times at Bryan & Chris's house & he seemed to be full of stories to be told. I know how precious he was to his family and I also got to know his very distinct food preferences. You were blessed to have him in your lives and his memory will remain within you forever.  

Jolly and I spent several  Holidays at Bryan and Chris’s house where we got to know Bill and Betty. One holiday we shared a  meal with them. We had such a good time. Bill and Betty shared  with us stories of  Bryan when he was a little boy! Another occasion I had made deviled eggs for dinner.  Bill wanted to know who made those delicious deviled eggs! He will be missed by all that knew him.  Family , take comfort in your memories you have with Bill. RIP  friend until  we meet again. 🙏

Jackie,  I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I always enjoyed Bill stories-he was quite the character. You & your family will be in my prayers.
