Curtis Dale Martin was one of a kind! He was loved by many! He never met a stranger and always wanted a good time! His smile and smirk were one to remember! He was never afraid of work! He was employed by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for 27 years and laid tile on the side. When not working, Curtis enjoyed drag racing, mudding, hunting, fishing, boating, pretty much any outdoor activity, the beach, and watching the sun come up!
His children, Kurt and Kallie, were his grounding force and the light of his life!
You always knew where you stood with Curtis. He spoke his mind, and if you didn't like it, you needed to get thicker skin or get out of the way. One thing is for sure; he loved his TOYS, especially the fast ones. He was always willing to help out and give a lending hand. His favorite statement, “call me if you need me,” he wasn’t just saying it; he meant it.
He for sure had a fun-loving, wild side but had amazing grace. Until we meet again at those pearly gates, watch over us all, send love down in the dark times of our grieving, and celebrate the times we spent together! There will NOT be another CURTIS DALE MARTIN Sr. those shoes are too big, but your children, family, and friends will carry your memory on. You are gone, but the IMPRESSION you left will never be forgotten! Fly high and watch over us all, especially our precious double trouble, but twice BLESSED, the light of our lives Kurt and Kallie!
