She was born on February 6, 1947, in Coalinga, California, and spent her early years moving frequently due to her father's career in the Navy. This nomadic childhood instilled in her a lifelong love for travel and exploration.
After graduating from Bakersfield College Nursing Program in 1977, Frances embarked on a remarkable 40-year career as a Registered Nurse. Her dedication to the profession was evident in the compassionate care she provided to countless patients over the decades.
Frances's passion for travel saw her setting the ambitious goal of driving through every state in the U.S., a testament to her adventurous spirit. Her travels were accompanied by her love for photography, capturing the essence of each place she visited in hundreds of photo albums. Frances was also known for her enthusiasm for sweepstakes, a hobby that took her to conventions nationwide.
