Marie Agnes Powell, born on June 19, 1953, passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 72. She was a resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Little Rock, AR to Charles and Mary Chicoski. Marie loved all animals; she fed the squirrels, watched the birds, and enjoyed her own furbabies, Littleman, Rocky, and Hoss.
Marie was cherished, generous, gentle, humorous, kind-hearted, and thoughtful. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Franklin Powell; sisters, Theresa May and Barbara Holladay; and niece JoAnn Thomas.
She is survived by her loving family, nieces, Mary Ann (Wayne) Tarrants, Lorenna Holladay, and Laura (Mark) Stewart; nephews, Damon Howard, Justin Parker, Brian, Dion, and Michael Holladay, Todd and Scott Justesen, Kenny, Kevin, and Chris Miller; sister, Nancy Jo (Richard) Justesen; brother, Charles (Donna) Chicoski Jr.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Holloway. Marie Agnes Powell will be laid to rest at 2:00 PM at Rest Hills Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock, AR.
