Mike attended Fellowship Bible Church in Cabot. Retired from AT&T, he was an avid hunter and member of many hunt clubs and camps. Mike was a proud founding member of Cedar Hill Hunt Club and Foggy Bottom Hunt Club. A member of Cypress Creek Golf Club, Mike was also an excellent golfer. He thoroughly enjoyed deer and duck hunting with his sons, grandchildren and good friends. He taught his grandchildren hunting safety, shared his extensive knowledge of hunting with them, as well as his knowledge of golf. Affectionately known as Killer to his family and close friends, Mike was a huge fan of everything Arkansas Razorbacks, the Dallas Cowboys and MLB Baseball, especially the Cardinals. He was privileged to volunteer at a golf tournament at The Alotian Club and also attended a round of the US Open. But Mike's favorite activity was watching his grandchildren play sports and perform. From t-ball, baseball, football, track, softball, cheerleading, gymnastics and dance recitals, you could always find him in the stands or on the sidelines cheering. There was never any doubt to players, fans or umpires about which side he was on or who he came to support.
Mike was preceded in death by his loving wife and wonderful mother of his children, Juliana Fenwick Vines of Hope, AR; both of his parents and his brothers, Tracy Vines and Roger Vines.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Mariann Harrington and Stephanie Garrison of CARTI for their exceptional love, care and concern.
