She was born to Ora Gail and Mildred Lewis Ploughe on Aug. 24, 1934 in Tipton County, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grimes, her parents, three brothers, Vern, Gene and Danny Ploughe and one sister Waneta Ploughe Wallace. She is survived by eight children, Robert Grimes Jr. (Sue), Sue Shafer (Dorian), Craig Hoff (Cindy), Jeannie Terrell, Greg Grimes, Gail Brunsdon, (Charlie), Robin House (Ron), and Vince Grimes; also 19 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Great Grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Ann Ploughe Martin, and two brothers, Leo and Donnie Ploughe all of Indiana.
Naomi was a hard worker all her life and worked at many different jobs. Her last job was at Fred’s Pharmacy in Cabot.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 Thursday at Country Chapel Church in Ward where she was a faithful member for the last 15 years.
