Sharon Ann (Nicholas) Smith, age 76 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 18, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on December 6, 1949, in Little Rock, AR to the late Ed and Ruth Nicholas. She was predeceased by her husband Fredrick "Rick" Smith II.
She was a loving wife, mother, loyal and supportive sister and sister-in-law and the primary care giver for her parents until their death. Sharon graduated from NLRHS in 1968, then attended Henderson State in Arkadelphia, AR and later moved to Kansas City, MO., where she married and started a family. She returned to North Little Rock, AR in the late eighties, where she enjoyed a long career in retail clothing sales with Colony Shop and Dillard's.
Sharon loved fishing, walking in the woods, playing slots, shopping and trying new restaurants with her daughter.
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Kali Kimball (Ezekiel), brothers Larry Nicholas (Mary) and Steven Nicholas (Jan); stepdaughters Laura Campbell (Chris) and Kara Mincy (James Andrew). Special friends Mary Beth Stage and Melissa Fry.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR, 72117. A private family burial will immediately follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
