Theodore "Teddy" Marion Butler, 65, of El Dorado passed away May 27, 2024. He was born January 3, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jessie and Wanda (Steckbauer) Butler. In addition to his parents, Theodore was preceded in death by stepfather, Adolf Steckbauer; and brother, Dickie Harrel.
Theodore was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Maumelle. Generous in every aspect of his life, Theodore had the universal donor blood type and donated over twenty gallons throughout his lifetime. In his spare time, Theodore enjoyed watching Nascar.
He is survived by his sister, Jo Etta (Jim) Wade, Jo Anna (Gary) James; niece, Ginger (Jamie) Houston; nephews, Duane (Ashley) James, Brian (Hallie) Ramos, Jimmy (Heather) Wade; great nieces and nephews; Skylar (Andrew) Weir, Hannah James, Alysa Morin, Jessie James, Parker Ramos, Caroline Raney, Harper Raney, Greenlee Wade, Gauge Wade, and Madison Wade.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024 at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Theodore will be laid to rest following the service at Rest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local blood bank.
