Abe was known by many as The Candyman, having owned and by making candy.
Abe is survived by his son Bernard Oberlender (Laura); his son Charley Oberlender (Beth); and his daughter Cecile Mankes (Barry); his brother Julio Oberlender (Pearl) and his sister Dora Malach; his grandchildren Jennifer,Alison,Tania, Danielle, Matthew,Saul,David and Margot and his great grandchildren Philip.Brody,Robert,Blake,Sabastian,Evan,Myles,Ella,Atlas. Nico and all who loved him.
A chapel service for Abe will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels, 17250 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33160. Rabbi Jonathan Berkun will officiate the services.
Following the chapel service will be a burial from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Shalom Gardens, 15800 NE 18th Ave,, North Miami Beach , FL 33162
