I knew Barry from AB Davis HS. He was two years older, but we played basketball many times in the Davis gym and on the hard courts at Traphagen JHS, with the great Bob Turpin,  Mickey Fuchs, Mike Amsbro, Richie Shapiro, Jack Bromley, etc. I saw Barry for lunch with our late buddy Alan Rosenberg about 10 years ago (2010 or 2011).  What a great time we all had. We relived our days growing up in Mount Vernon.  He was a great competitor.  I wish I had known him better over the long years since the early 1960s. 
 

Just found out about Mr. Berkule's passing.  Our Thoughts and Prayers are with your family.  the staff and management at Rey's Cleaners.
