Dany  

Era todo luz, a cualquier lugar que entrase, se iluminaba.  

Tenia amigos   como estrellas en el cielo. Era cautivante.

Nadie quien lo hubiese conocido lo podria olvidar.

Su alma debe estar con los justos . Que D  LO TENGA EN LA GLORIA.



Tuve el placer de trabajar con Daniel en Motorola y seguimos en contacto cuando ambos cambiamos de trabajo.  Siempre admire su inteligencia, profesionalismo e innovacion.  Mi sentido pesame a su familia.  Estan en mis oraciones.

I am heart broken about the loss of Daniel. 

Daniel was my colleague at Brightstar and we stayed in contact after we both left. I went to see him at his Lifekee office, had lunch together and reviewed start-up ideas together. What an amazing and graceful personality he was!

His smile was contagious, his understanding of people impressive and his wisdom of what the world is all about made you want to listen to him. Meetings with him was about lernen, about true learning if you opened up to his insights. He had the chochme to find his way in the complex world of mobile phones and it brought him far. 

Yet, even though he was passionate about it, he made it clear that his family, his values and beliefs were his number 1, his true North Star. 

What an incredible loss it must be for you as family! Please know Dan will be remembered as a real Mensch. I pray the Almighty will hold his wife and three wonderful children in the palm of His hands. Adios my friend!

Queridos Patricia e hijos, Israel, Martha,  Yanira y toda la familia.  Cuando recordamos a Dani lo primero que viene a nuestra mente es su carismática, dulce y alegre sonrisa,  su inteligente y positivo sentido del humor. 
Hijo de Israel y Martha, quienes influenciaron enormemente en la formación de tantos jóvenes con los valores de liderazgo, judaísmo, risas, creatividad , en fin, nos dieron a quienes participamos en los campamentos de la B'nai B'rith, herramientas para la vida y siempre nos hicieron sentir como familia.  

Que descanse en paz y con el paso del tiempo solo queden los bellos recuerdos, el amor y la luz de su sonrisa.

My condolences to the Ghelman Family.  I had the pleasure of knowing  Danny and the family for many years.  Danny always greeted you with a smile and something positive to say.  He had a quality that was rare and refreshing.  He had a wonderful life accomplishing more than most people.  He loved his family and would always speak of them.   He was a real Mensch.   I will miss our conversations.  Rest in Peace.  

My sincere condolences to Daniel's family - I'm deeply saddened to hear of his loss.

Daniel was a treasure - we met at work and bonded as Jews of Brightstar but it seemed he found something to bond over with everyone he met.  He was relentlessly upbeat, immensely energetic and filled with joy.  I looked forward to our chats and the opportunities we had to get together in Miami or Las Vegas or Barcelona.  He was a true mensch and I will forever be grateful that I was blessed with his friendship.

May his memory be a blessing.

I’m at a lose for words and my heart hurts because as everyone knows, Daniel was one of the kindest, most caring, most decent, most positive humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.  Daniel hired me when he was the VP of Sales at gMed and I had zero experience.  He coached, mentored and was so patient with me as I got up to speed.  He was always available to help and we had quite a few memorable road trips together!!  More importantly he became my friend over the past 11 years and he wouldn’t hesitate to provide a reference and would always call to check in to see how I was doing.  He was refreshingly authentic, super smart, and I’m proud to have had him as a friend.  God bless you Daniel, my your soul Rest In Peace my brother!!

Daniel was by far the most genuine, authentic and caring man i have ever met. While working for gMed and i had a trajic accident in an injury with a broken neck: i recall the compassion he had as i was far from recovery. He came across state to meet with me and had big tears in his eyes when we met.  Truly a brother & good man who cared more about the person than trivial performance metrics. A man who adored his family, friends. Intgrity, honor, respect. The world has lost a " great soul" as devastated by news. Rest in peace my brother.

Nos embarga una tristeza y dolor muy grandes, muy dificil de asimilar.

Dear Patricia, Sharon, Eitan and Deborah,
Jerry and I were so saddened to hear of Danny's passing. We were so greatful that we got to see you in Florida two years ago. We have so many wonderful memories from your time in Tokyo. The video was such a tribute to the happy, kind person he was. Such a loss to all of you. I wish we could be with you to express our sympathies but know we are thinking of you with love and sadness in our hearts.

I was lucky enough to meet Daniel through work over 5 years ago. When I started my own company, he was a big cheerleader and openly shared advice, experience, mistakes and all. He was so supportive and funny- even though we’d never met in person.  We finally did a few years ago in Miami at Zak the Baker for a coffee. When I pointed out that the bábka looked “magical” his response was:  “Yeap. You eat it and "puff" you become a fat pig, like magic.” 😂
I feel so fortunate to have known him and I’m so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all and all of the many people that love him.  I took the photo below to send to Pablo Santos, who Id had a meeting with just before, and is also a big fan of Daniel’s. 

Lamento mucho lo ocurrido y mis condolencias a toda la familia Ghelman: Marta, Israel, Uri, Yanira, Patricia, sus hijos, primos, sobrinos, y todos los miembros de una familia tan especial y que tanto contribuyó a la formación de generaciones de buenos seres humanos con los campamentos en Venezuela. 
Suena a cliché en este momento pero q Dios les de consuelo y Uds tengan la fortaleza para apoyarse en un momento tan difícil.

I am so sorry for your loss... Daniel was such a great and loving guy. I was lucky to have  the chance to work with him for many years.  He was so smart, helpful, optimistic and encouraging to all.... he always spoke so lovingly about his wife and family and I was fortunate to count him as a friend.
