I want to thank you for always listening to me, and offering guidance whenever I need it. I will miss our phone calls and late night hangout sessions. You laugh at the things I tell you, and don’t judge me harshly for saying something others may think inappropriate. I can be honest with you about anything, because I never worry that you don’t think I’m doing my best with Sam and the girls. I can make a comment about something silly Sam has done, and you will laugh about it with me, because you know him best. You will live forever in our hearts, stories, and memories. Alexis & Alyssa will carry you forever in their hearts and we will make sure that you are thought of every single day as I promised. And who you are will be passed down in wonderful stories to your grandkids and on... You will be truly missed always...
Thank you for becoming my second mom when mine became an angel. I hope you guys have fun up there.

How does one "sum up" their mom? I found myself repeatedly trying to put the words together several times this week that would enable you to learn about my mom and Angel, Kathleen Feliciano. The fact of the matter is, I can't "sum up" Kathy Feliciano. She was way more than the summation of a couple sentences. She was a proud and great wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her animals and Elvis too! I can't believe and find it hard to accept that I will never hear her voice again. Her spunk! How opinionated she was, whether you wanted to hear it or not. And ultimately the love she gave! I am proud of us, her family, for being there for mom at the end; not alone in some hospital or hospice facility. I'm still numb; as I'm sure you all are. Mom was the glue that held us together. Pop is the rock that we lean on. I hope you are okay Pop. I realize how empty that house may seem now without Mom. I also understand that you may have felt under appreciated the last couple of months with all of our actions, thoughts, and energy devoted to mom's final months. And for that, I apologize Pop. I love you Pop, Sam, and Sissy. She raised a caring, compassionate, and loving family. Mom really loved her grandkids, Alexis and Alyssa. She loved her daughter's in law, Christy and Lisa and her son in law, Dave too. As some of you may know; Mom was a bit of an insomniac. I would visit her from midnight to 3am, just when she would get sleepy, in the hospital those last few weeks. As I sat with her at the hospital those late nights, she cried to me about how happy she was to have had the family she did. She wished that we continued to love each other and be in each other's lives after she was gone. She was happy and blessed that she never had to bury any of her children, and finally; some of her ashes be laid to rest with her dad, some with Pop's dad and some with Uncle Gilbert. I assured her she did a great job raising us and not to worry; that her wishes would be honored. I told her how proud I was of her and her bravery! That she was the best mom anyone could have, and that she raised us right! She said, as long as those things were done, she was at peace and was ready. Scared, but ready. Ready because of her faith in God. The last night of mom's life, I was with Mom. Making sure she was at rest, pain free, and scratching places she couldn't reach, basically doing anything she wanted or needed. We had a few but brief couple of words. I told her, "I wished I was in that bed, instead of her. That she was too good to suffer that way. And that I wished I could take away her pain." One of my last sentences to her was, "You are my Angel Mom. I love you so much!" And always one to have the final word, she said, "No, you are my Angel. I love you more!" During her last couple hours, she mentioned how she "was ready to go home" and "Let's go home." At one point she said, "Hello Sonte'", which those not in the know, was what she called Pop's Dad. It gave me chills! It was as if she was talking to him. Like she was ready to go... Her tired body just couldn't take anymore. I continued to tickle her face and legs for comfort and she said, "That feels good." I responded, "Anything you want Ma. I love you." Those were her last words. Her immediate and extended family are the legacy that Kathleen Marie Feliciano will leave for this world. We are the core that will keep her alive in our hearts, minds, and the life we lead in dedication of her wonderful life and memories. I'm glad you are no longer suffering. I miss you so much though! Your adoring, loving son, Michael Anthony. I love you Ma.... Rest in Peace My Angel.

Mom I miss you so much. I wake up every morning hoping this was just a terrible dream.  I feel cheated, but I take comfort in knowing you are not in any pain anymore and I KNOW where you are and who you're with. You have been such a huge influence in my life. I am so proud to be your son. As I reflect on things the one constant that keeps coming up in my head is your passionate love for us. You made our house a home. You are still our spiritual rock.  It’s up to us now to hold up our end of the bargain in seeing you again. My life’s vow will be in honor of you, to be good and just and make you proud. 

I promise to pass down your wisdom and love to our little girls. I’ll never let them forget you. Alexis has already said she would honor you by taking your name for her confirmation name. Alyssa asks where Grandma is, and we say. “She’s in heaven baby.” You know Alexis is so kind, but she’s shown great courage and it seems this situation has forced her to “grow up” so to speak. You’d be so proud of her ma.

Remember what I asked you about dropping by or giving us a sign if you can. We miss you so much! We love you mom, love your son Sam, your daughter in law Lisa, and your two little granddaughters Alexis, and Alyssa. 



My grandma is the sweetest and funniest person ever. She has a BIG heart. We loved watching movies together, and telling each other stories. She always makes me smile. I love her so much. Whenever the sun shines, I know she is there. She has a really strong faith in God, so I know she is in heaven and living an everlasting life . She loves me and all the family. She is watching over us right now. She cares about everyone. She is in our hearts and minds always. I miss her and always will, but I know I'll see her again. I think of her as a saint. In honor of her I'm going to take her name as my confirmation name.

Kathy, I have so many memories of you it is hard to pick just one.  You have been like a second mother to me. I will cherish all the times we hung out together at your house just chillin in your room and having our chit chats about our lives. Those will never be forgotten.  I miss you so much already! Please don't worry about Mike I will always be there for him . I love you always  your daughter Christy!

Since you left us I feel so empty and heartbroken that I will never hear your voice or see your beautiful face anymore. I know your in a better place and not in anymore pain and that comforts me. You're with your Mom now and all our Loved  ones who meant so much to you, especially Elvis :). I love you so much and each day without you is so difficult. I was truly blessed to have had you as my Mom. You showed us all so much love and tenderness throughout our lives. We've had so many good times and the shared so many things as a Mother and Daughter. You were my Mom and my Best Friend. At times I feel like I can't breathe without you here anymore. I know I have to be strong and that's what you would want for all of us, and I'm trying  Mom. Please show me signs that you're still with me so I can feel your love.  You touched so many peoples lives and were loved by so many. We all love and miss you very much. Mom I will continue to do my best to make you proud. Thank you Lord for giving me such a beautiful loving Mother. Fly high my sweet beautiful Angel until we see each other again.
