Mary Susie Sue "Susie Austin Schweitzer

She was born in Glendale, CA., moved to Florida, graduated Ft Lauderdale High School and Broward Community College, became a Nuclear Medicine Tech and worked at Hollywood Memorial Hospital.

“Susie” met the love of her life, Frederick Schweitzer in 1972 at the Lauderdale Catholic Singles Club and married in 1976. Having 4 loving daughters, Suzanne, Deborah, Geraldine and Barbara (U.S.A.), Mary was very active as Silver Sands Girl Scout Leader, City of Margate Handicap Board, St. Vincent’s Women’s Club, Columbiettes, Church Choir, Eucharistic Minister and St. Vincent De Paul Society past officer.

Survived by her husband, daughters, brother, Robert Austin (Alicia), sister-in-law’s Terri Austin and Gerry Schweitzer, brother-in-law’s Michael Schweitzer ( Jane ), Leonard Schweitzer ( Chris), many much loved nieces and nephews, bingo friends and all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her sister Barbara and brother Joseph.
