Selma A. Schacher, age 102, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Menorah House Nursing Home in Boca Raton. Selma was born in New York, New York on October 6, 1921 to Louis and Tillie (Goodman) Gelfand.
Selma is survived by her sons, Robert M. Schacher (Donna) and Carl P. Schacher; daughter, Lynn S. Pike; brother, Eugene Gelfand; grandson, Matthew A. Pike, granddaughters, Jennifer Manuel, and Lauri Klotz; her great grandsons, Devon Manuel, Zac Klotz, EJ Klotz, Ethan Pike, Daniel Pike and great granddaughter, Samantha Pike.
She is preceded in death by husband, David Schacher; brother Mark Gelfand and parents.
A funeral service for Selma will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 12:00 PM (Noon) in Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332 with burial to follow.
