Dr. Williamson practiced at Orthopedic Associates of. Virginia. Mid 1970s he took me from feeling like a freak cripple to being a walking human being again. Dr. Williamson was a pioneer in his field. Thank you Doctor is just not enough for what he did for me. One phrase...he cured my Severs Disease in Both Feet. A truly great unafraid Surgeon.

Dr. Williamson was the ortho surgeon that was brought in at Norfolk General to treat  my 16 year old with a broken neck.  This was Labor Day weekend 44 years ago.  My son is now 60 years old with a beautiful family thanks to Doc.  I did let Doc know of his graduation, engagement, marriage and birth of his three children because without him none of it may have happened.  I have never missed calling him every Thanksgiving for the past 43 years saying  thanks to him for the great care he took of my son.  He has a special plaće in my heart for treating my son so that he would live a normal life.  It is with great sadness that I learn of his death.  I hope his children will read this memory.  I know Paula knew of my calls to him.
